RISNA PRESENTS LEGISLATIVE 301: WHAT EVERY NURSE NEEDS TO KNOW
RISNA believes that advocacy is a pillar of nursing. As nurses, we instinctively advocate for our patients, in our workplaces, and in our communities; however, legislative and political advocacy is no less important in advancing our profession and patient care.
On Friday, December 7, 2018, RISNA will be holding an Advocacy Institute to empower its members by offering the information, tools, and resources that nurses need to become effective advocates. RISNA believes that through championing the nursing profession, nurses give a voice to the essential role that they play in advancing access to high-quality, affordable care. With energetic participation in advocacy, we believe our members can help the profession to improve and move to higher levels.
